Hotel Prizreni Review: A Hidden Gem Stay in Prizren, Kosovo

ByCaroline July 18, 2025September 17, 2026

We stayed at Hotel Prizreni during our Europe 2025 trip, in Prizren, Kosovo, tucked into our itinerary between beautiful Budva, Montenegro and serene Lake Ohrid, North Macedonia—and it turned out to be one of those happy surprises that makes travel so rewarding.

Prizren itself is a charming stop, full of history, energy, and some seriously scenic strolls. And this little hotel? It punches way above its weight.

Hotel Prizreni’s location couldn’t be better—everything you’ll want to see is just a few minutes’ walk away. Despite being right in the heart of the action, it was surprisingly peaceful at night (a gift after a full day of exploring).

The staff were genuinely lovely—welcoming, helpful, and quick to go the extra mile without being overbearing. It’s the kind of hospitality that sticks with you.

Our room was small but spotless, with just enough space for a comfy night’s sleep and a bonus little balcony—perfect for people-watching with a glass of something cold.

Breakfast was included and way better than expected, with a buffet that had something for everyone: flaky pastries, fresh bread, yogurt, cereals, sausages, fruits, veggies, and plenty of coffee, tea, and juices to get you going.

If you’re headed to Prizren, Hotel Prizreni is an easy yes.
