Houseboat 65 – Cairo Egypt – March 2026
We’re staying on Houseboat 65, Zamalek’s iconic floating den of 20th century Cairo’s artistic rebellion. For three nights, we’ll sleep where Naguib Mahfouz wrote and Umm Kulthum’s musicians jammed – a creaky, glorious time capsule where the Nile still whispers stories of revolution, art, and the radicals who changed Egypt forever.
