Volcanoes, Valleys, and Geyser Basins: Our Day in Yellowstone
Most visitors rush through Yellowstone without a plan. We chose to dive right in. By skipping our morning hotel check-in and heading straight into the park after a long drive from Alberta, we scored front-row seats to Old Faithful, walked the edges of the massive Grand Prismatic Spring, and watched the bubbling, hissing cauldrons of the Lower Geyser Basin put on a spectacular geothermal show.
